Drew Memorial Hospital is a non-profit, county-owned hospital serving a population of more than 200,000 in Southeast Arkansas. The 49-bed hospital offers: a seven bed Emergency Department and a seven bed ICU; comprehensive women's services through the Arkansas Center for Women; obstetrics services in Labor, Delivery & Recovery (delivering more than 400 infants each year); occupational, speech and physical therapy through DMH Rehabilitation; sleep studies in the four-bed Sleep Center lab; weekly chemotherapy treatments in the DMH Cancer Care Center; a wide range of general surgical procedures through Drew Surgical Specialists; complex wound care through the Wound Healing Institute of Southeast Arkansas; Home Health services to Drew County and all bordering counties; outpatient counseling services for older adults through the Transitions program; and chronic disease management through the new Chronic Care Management Program.

In 2016, DMH broke ground on a 56,000 square foot expansion. It expanded the hospital’s main entrance, contained a new labor, delivery, and recovery area and more than tripled the size of the nursery. The laboratory was enlarged, with 6 new operating rooms, including 2 dedicated c-section rooms, in a state-of-the-are surgery center. The expansion also included an expanded Outpatient Clinic, increasing opportunities for specialist physicians to visit Drew County. Drew Memorial Hospital creates an estimated economic impact of $28 million annually.
